Safer memory shutdown
Recon now stops accepting new memory work, finishes any in-flight PGlite close, and releases the local store before an MCP process exits.
Stable release · July 14, 2026
A storage-safety release that prevents Claude Code and Codex sessions from interrupting Recon while its local memory is closing.
Recon now stops accepting new memory work, finishes any in-flight PGlite close, and releases the local store before an MCP process exits.
Repeated stop and restart signals no longer interrupt the database checkpoint that keeps your local memory ready for the next session.
If local storage cannot open, Recon preserves it and shows a safe recovery path instead of replacing the store or presenting only a low-level WebAssembly abort.
The release was tested against a populated store and reopened it with its beliefs, receipts, Work, and Knowledge links intact.
The app and disk image are Developer ID signed, Apple notarized, stapled, Gatekeeper-approved, and verified from the exact immutable download.
