Start with the problem Recon solves
The first run now explains how coding agents lose decisions between sessions before asking you to configure sources or tools.
Stable release · July 23, 2026
A focused activation release that helps a new user save one real decision and use it in the coding agent they already have.
The first run now explains how coding agents lose decisions between sessions before asking you to configure sources or tools.
New users can write one decision from their own work. Recon stores it against the selected project instead of showing a fake demo or leaving the next session empty.
Recon connects its local memory tools before the final activation step, then gives you a natural question to copy into the detected Claude Code or Codex session.
You can sign in from Settings to share captured decisions across supported AI surfaces. Your code and source files remain on the Mac; only captured memory is synced.
The packaged app opened the current populated store with all 8,208 Knowledge links healthy, and its bundled MCP completed a context read without a reset.
The exact app and disk image are Developer ID signed, Apple notarized, stapled, Gatekeeper-approved, and published as immutable production bytes.
